Communication Foundation can spend the amount of welfare fund for the following works:-
(a) If a working journalist or his family members fall ill or have an immediate accident and need to provide financial support,
(b) To provide stipend at a concessional rate to working journalists in case of extraordinary circumstances,
(c) To make necessary arrangements for the education of the children of working journalists,
(C1) To give the amount of disability benefits according to rule 28A (c2) To give the amount of compensation as per Rule 30B,
(d) In relation to the rights and interests of working journalists and any other matters deemed appropriate by the Communication Foundation.
